Ivan “Batman” Jorge (Ataque Duplo) beat Mario Soldado (CM System) on the 30th in Warrior’s Challenge 4, which took place in Portobelo, Santa Catarina. With this achievement, Batman finished the year with a portfolio of 13 fights and 12 victories. More impressively: there were seven fights in 2009 alone, according to Sherdog.com.

Trained by masters Carlos Gracie Junior and Jean Jacques Machado, Vinicius Magalhães, better known as Draculino, opened the Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, branch of Gracie Barra in 1995. Since then, he has produced a number of world-class black belts, like Rômulo Barral, among others.
