Topic: Some of my eating habits

Since you guys have this forum here are a couple of things I do.
My biggest asset is a good grill. I would recommend that to anybody that trains and like to eat well.
There is minimal clean up and the food tastes great.
Most of the time, I will fire up the grill when I come back from training, go take a shower and by the time I am out the grill is up to temperature. Grill chicken or steaks and have a great meal.

The other thing that I got into, and I know some of you will give me shit for it, is some of the Gracie diet.

I got a Champion juicer off Craigslist and have been doing the smoothies mostly. Half a Honeydew melon juiced, and 3 bananas in a blender work great as a pre workout/ breakfast meal. I usually drink it 1 hour before training and am good for about 4-5 hours. I don't even drink any water during training, because this stuff keeps me hydrated.
I am not following the diet too much, but just take some of the meals and try them out, because I get bored with my regular food rotation.

Anyone have a recommendation on a good quality, inexpensive juicer?

I don't Juice like a champion... But I do make smoothies. I buy Acai Puree' and frozen strawberries  and blue berries. I pour them in a blender...mix with some milk, a little bit of sugar and some vanilla extract.  MAN...it is the shiiizniiit.  Taste incredible, keeps you full and gives me energy. Its great for Breakfast or a snack.

Mike, check craigslist for champion juicers in your area.
I found mine for $80. It was old, but it works great.
I ve seen some go for as low as $35.

Colby, where do you get yoru Acai puree from? I ve been looking for Acai, but haven't found any. Costco used to carry Sambazon Acai juice, which was great, but they stopped carrying it.

This whole food store, its actually my aunt that gets it. Shes an acai freak, and I just have her grab me a pack. I'll have to ask her where.
