The results of the Legacy MMA were the best possible for GBTx and Gracie Barra in general. We had three fighters, and three winners; two by submission and one by decision. We also had another fighter from GB Woodlands that won as well, making it a perfect 4-0 for Gracie Barra on the night.
Greg Bellomy put on a show, getting the submission of the night with a sleeper anaconda choke. Brian Light Foot had a stand up, strategic fight and won by decision. Marcelo Azevedo put on a BJJ clinic. He submitted his opponent in the first round with a rear naked choke.
We showed that it is not just BJJ that the team is good at here in Texas… these guys can fight!
